Services calculations based forecasting orographic (DTM)
Our company provides custom coverage calculations (orographic) using various types of advanced softwares to obtain results very close to reality.
A correct analysis of propagation is necessary to determine the suitability of a transmitter site (real or proposed) must take into account the orography of the terrain (buildings, mountains, obstacles…).
Modern simulation techniques using softwares DTM (digital terrain model) with high resolutions (1x1mt) and propagation models for the most different fields of application.

In plant test procedures
All the components of the antenna system are airproofed and tested separately in the factory.
The panels, yagi, dipole, splitters and cables are submitted to V.S.W.R. and pressurization test. The electrical phase of each cable is also tested.
For the antenna system TELECFE shall provide (at request, with additional cost) the test of each antenna in the factory to check:
- Horizontal pattern of 1 bay for FM antenna system (with tower section equivalent to customer mast);
- V.S.W.R. of 1 bay.
Above test, which shall be performed at additional cost, shall be provided by TELECFE in its plant through one of the most up to date field test facilities in the industry.
Pattern measurements are carried out by means of rotating tower completely controlled by a computer system with a custom software program written by TELECFE and RVR group engineers.
